Helping students following the Cambridge academic pathway of IGCSE, AS and A levels navigate their way through the process of subject choice, matric exemption and South African university application.
With 16 years experience behind me as an academic head at a Cape Town based international school and a Cambridge exams officer, I love to help young students (and their parents) find their way through what can be a confusing path of completing an international school-leaving qualification in a South African context.

Student’s academic history

Preferable for parents to attend with the student for this initial session
Preferably in person; student only
Exploring specific institutions/courses/ course requirements
Goal: to refine and shortlist options
Student is tasked with further research before any additional session.

Goal to assist student with completing the online applications
Held once student has shortlisted choices.
Goal: to provide guidance on national senior certificate equivalence (SAQA) and matric exemption equivalence (USAF) applications.
Goal: complete a language and reference edit of honours and masters theses or research papers.
